Honours & Awards is bestowed on a scientist/researcher working in any institution in the country and abroad for original and outstanding research contributions made primarily in the field of AYUSH in clinical, literary and drug research separately. Prize is awarded on the basis of contributions made through work done during last five calendar years from the year of award.

ICOA Award Category I : Best Research Paper Award.
ICOA Award Category II : Life Time Achievement Award.
ICOA Award Category III : Best Teacher Award.
ICOA Award Category IV : Best Clinician Award.
Eligibility
Candidates are eligible for the award who has contributed original, innovative, outstanding empirical research contributions primarily in the field of AYUSH in clinical, literary and drug research separately. The nominations may be supported by the original research work done for the greater good of the humanity with contribution to the AYUSH field. Research work, achievement, experience, exposures should not have submitted by the nominee for any similar award elsewhere.
Incentives
- The Award comprises a certificate, a cash award of 000 (FHFHFHF only) and a memento or plaque.
- The award certificate shall indicate the title of Field along with names of contributors.
How to Apply
Nominations addressed to secretary General, international Council of AYUSH should be sent as per the prescribed proforma and digital photograph latest by 15th Feb of the application year. prescribed proforma for nomination may be obtained from website: www.xyz.yffyf.in.
Procedure of Selection and Award
- The Prize is bestowed on a scientist/researcher working in any institution in the country and abroad, who has made conspicuously important and outstanding contributions to human knowledge and progress - fundamental and applied – in the particular field of endeavour, which is his/her specialization.
- The Prize is awarded on the basis of contributions made through work done during last five calendar years from the year of award.
- An Expert Committee with the following composition will examine the proposal and take the decision for Award:
- Chairman - A renowned AYUSH discipline expert.
- Member - A representative from AYUSH bodies.
- Subject Experts - Three (as nominated by Member Secretary).
- Member Secretary - ICOA.
- The names of the recipients are made public on Dhanvantri Day (21 Oct).
- The Prizes are awarded at a formal presentation ceremony arranged by ICOA.
- In all matters of award, the decision of ICOA shall be final.
